Default automatic engine toyota celica wanting to engine swap and change from auto to manual?
I have a toyota celica 2001 gt automatic. I want to buy a manual transmission engine the 3sgte and put it in my celica. I wanna convert from auto to manual. HOw much would that cost? estimation?

Any salvage yard will help you on that. What I would worry about is the computer and wring harness mods to work and legally pass a smog check in California or elsewhere. I say it wouldn't be worth the time, money, and effort. The car won't be worth as much either. Sell yours and buy one they way you want it made that way.

Thats a turbo MR2 motor right?































Thats a big change. Like it was said, you'd have to get the donor wire harness and computer.































Custom motor mounts would have to be fabricated too.































This will costs you THOUSANDS and lots of time.































Plus, in a lot of states, especially california, you cannot swap in an engine thats older than the vehicle.
