not a good idea that engine does ok for a short distance, 50 miles or less, no hills, but IM telling you now there are some high mountian passes in between that will kill that little trucks clutch big time, and you will be down to grinding up these steep grades in second on a major highway, thats a good way to get creamed by an 18 wheeler. You need a truck with a lot more power and bigger, downhills getting pushed by dead wieght is no fun and once the brakes get hot, your screwed if you are in the wrong gear. Please find a better plan, you will fall asleep going uphill in second gear for a few hundred miles.
