hit it with rubbing compound like a normal wax job, that should remove most of the oxidation, next use a good polish, not wax, to bring back the shine, then after you can put on a light coat of wax and buff it out. That should do a good job, otherwise if the oxidation is really bad you will have to color sand starting at 1500 grit moving to 3000 grit and then to the compound and polishing.
