Default What do I need to do a tune up on my 2001 corolla le?
I want to go buy all the parts to do a tune up tomorrow. What will i need?

Try to wash/clean the engine first. Then change the spark plugs and wires (if over 90k miles). Change oil and filter. Change Air filter. Top off all fluids. Add injector / fuel tank cleaner in gas tank(follow directions on bottle). Additionally Check & replace coolant if necessary.

spark plugs,air filter,oil and oil filter change,pcv valve.There are no spark plug wires,or fuel filter.The fuel filter is integrated into the fuel pump.Make sure you get the iridium style plugs,NGK are the best ones,and do not gap iridium style plugs,the gaps are factory set.

Check tire pressure































For Major Tune up you might want to change















Transmission Fluid















Flush Coolant system and change Thermostat















Power Steering Fluid Flush















Brake Fluid Flush
