how can I get a new set of car keys for my 2007 Toyota Corolla?

Default how can I get a new set of car keys for my 2007 Toyota Corolla?
Ive lost both of my keys but have a third back up key. i do not own the car (my mothers)















can i just go to the dealership and get a new set?















thanks for the help















i can take the key and get it made? doesnt it have a microchip in it?

Yes, the dealership can order you a new set but it may take a week or so for them to come in and they are pretty expensive.

Take the car but if it's registered in her name they may want her there too. If you have a third key, why not just go to the hardware store or lowes or home depot or wal-mart and get them to make you some new ones. Probably around 2.99 each.

I believe you key will have a chip in it, some key cutters can copy chipped keys but Toyota Immobilisers are quite complex.































So may need to order a key from the dealer.































They will need the remaining key and log book.































be warned though that the old keys will still work, if you want to make the lost keys unusable you are looking a several hundred pounds for a new immobiliser.
