My '98 VW used to go quite past the E. How many miles?
I figured the technology would be the same on the same year models. Camry.
my guess is that it travels below the E until it gets to the end of the curve, even though the final line is above the E. based on my guess after putting gas in my car shortly after, my guess is that it is at least 2 gallons worth once you hit the E, and that potentially runs out once you get to the end of the visual curve on the reader. i was about a millimeter away from it just before i put $6 gas in, which didn't quite put my car's gas level at the 2nd marker (so i'm assuming each marker is about a gallon). yet i wonder, i can put a good number of miles on the car with even only 2 gallons...so how many gallons does it really provide after you hit the E? it's always nice to know just how far you can push your car.
if it's 3 gallons that would be cooler. if it's 5 then that's great. if it's more, then right on.
