Supra non-turbo to turbo?

Default Supra non-turbo to turbo?
If i wanted to make my 1995 Toyota Supra non-turbo a turbo, how much would the turbo kit plus installation and tuning be? Basically, how much money would it take to make it a turbo

It would take a lot of money to make it a turbo. I mean your talking about into the thousands of dollars. And there will be a lot of fabricating to do as well. Best bet would be to get a Supra Turbo and sell yours but if you have the money go for it.

wow man. congrats on the car, it's def. legendary.















to answer the question, it would all depend on how much more hp you want, turbos range from 100hp/$300 to 1000/$12,000. maybe even more, there's plenty of supras out there that are 1000hp or more. so it would depend on the turbo you bought. the tuning would also depend on how much needs to be done along with the installation. it's really hard to answer this with no specifics...sorry.

I have to agree with darkhind. Turboing your N/A Supra will mean a lot of work. Possibly having the engine built to handle additional power in many cases, proper tuning, fuel management, etc. It would be cheaper to sell yours and buy a TT supra with all of that stuff already.

boosting an NA supra is very common to do, but it is a bit more involved and yo CANNOT get reliable answers from yahoo answers....































check out tunemytoyota.com and make an account there and ask us there, we can walk you through the entire process and we have vendors for every part you'll need.
