93 Toyota Camry starting trouble?

Default 93 Toyota Camry starting trouble?
I have a 93 Toyota Camry that doesn't like to start on the first shot. When I put the key in to start it makes all the noises all the lights come on but the car doesn't do anything else. After three or four times of turning the key on and off, the car will start fine. Any ideas? We had the started alternator and battery all checked at auto zone and everything came back normal.

replace the battery/those guys at auto zone are parts sellers/they know nothing

Take it to a real shop with real mechanics to be inspected. People working at places like Autozone are not mechanics. They barely know how to operate the scanners and such that provide false readings just so you will buy things there. Don't just start replacing parts as suggested by another. That is a recommendation made by another who is also not a mechanic.

Your starter is going out.















The brushes in the starter are starting to stick and sometimes when you turn the key you will hear clicking noises. Thats how you can tell the starter is going out. Give it a couple hits with a hammer and itll start first shot but itll kill the starter whatevers left of it within couple starts.
