Default a 1999 toyota corolla for 2000$?? good deal?
pretty low k on it for a 99 but needs a wheel bearing how much that usually cost (going to just get him to do it and cert it) also curious what to look for when i test drive it.. and he lives 4 hours away how would i even test drive it?

If a test drive, along with having a mechanic do a complete inspection of all systems, is not feasible, then keep looking

if its too good to be true then it probably is. a wheel bearing can be a couple hundred depending on how much labor involved. usually if wheel bearing is shot it leads to more problems such as axle wear and/or hub replacement.
