Does anybody know what new technology was used in the Toyota Prius Hybrid 2012 that can't be found else where?

The prius plug-in is the most advanced member of the prius family yet. Combining an extended all-electric mode [1][2] with proven hybrid technology, it can get you up to 475 miles before your next fill-up, depending on driving conditions. The 2012 Prius builds on the previous Prius engineering. To find out what the new items are for 2012, download the New Car Features manuals from http://techinfo.toyota.com/ There is a nominal $10 fee for a day's unlimited downloading. You'll also want the 2010 NCF manual because that details the changes made to the third generation Prius.
