I'm 16 and I'm thinking about buying a 2004 Toyota Prius and I've looked at all the good sides but I need some answers on how much it would cost if battery failure, electric motor problems, etc. I heard it was expensive.

The battery is designed to last the lifetime of the car. There are very few failures (like a handful) from 2004 on because in 2004 a new style battery pack was used.































Note that any modern car is expensive to fix if you take it to the dealer, but the Prius has a solid reputation for reliability. Consider joining one of the Yahoo Prius groups for more information.
