Local dealers occasionally advertise them as low as 12K (new), but this is a very basic car with roll-up windows and standard trans, which few people want. They do this to get you in there so they can steer you to a much more expensive car.
One salesman even had the nerve to try and tell me that small cars like this are unsafe on the freeway.
I said "are you REALLY going to sit there and tell me Toyota would be so stupid as to KNOWINGLY design and market a car that's unsafe in an area like THIS where MOST people drive on the freeway??????""do I have the words STUPID tattooed on my forehead????
P.S. (this is one of the MANY reasons I REALLY dislike sales people)
I would like to get that in writing and have you put your signature next to it please.....(the guy disappeared and we never saw him again)
