dashboard lights in 06 camry don't turn on at night?

Default dashboard lights in 06 camry don't turn on at night?
does anyone good with cars know what would cause the dashboard lights to not come on at night? i was driving a few hours ago and the lights were fine. then an hour or so ago i noticed that the lights in the dashboard were off. the only lights that was lit up were the headlight and drive lights.































sorry if i don't make sense, i'm not good with car stuff.

Have a look at the battery and the wiring, toyotas aren't normally in this condition so check your local mechanic

There is a switch called a dimmer switch for the interior lights on your dashboard. It is usually located by where you turn on the headlights or on the left side of the steering wheel. If the switch is turned to the brightest setting and you are not getting illumination to the dash, it is possible the switch is bad and needs to be replaced.

Dimmer switch is either set all the way down or it could be defective.















If the car is still under warranty take it in to Toyota. First roll the dimmer















switch and see if it makes a difference

It might be the dimmer on the dash, or your fuse.
