Default No Pressure in 1992 Toyota Camry Clutch Pedal?
I have a 1992 Toyota Camry and recently the clutch pedal has lost pressure. The pedal will go down to the floor and if I pump it many times in a row I can get a small amount of pressure on it and get the vehicle into gear without grinding.































The clutch resevoir has fluid in it.































I am a well practiced mechanic but I have never had to deal with a hydraulic clutch before.

You need to bleed the system, or more likely rebuild or replace the master and or slave cylinder.

Master Cylinder is out.















Its possible to still drive the car like that and shift gears without grinding but you got to get the engine revs right. If you dont know how to do it dont try it. Change out Master Cylinder.

If it ran low of fluid, then you filled it, bleeding it will do it.















If not, replace master and/or slave cylinder asap.















Parts are cheap enough to do both.















Slave usually leaks on failure. Master can leak internally with no fluid loss. Both are external.















Be glad you don't have a Saab.
