Default Engine Noise 2006 Rav 4?
I drive a 2006 Toyota Rav 4, 4 cylinder. I am experiencing an engine noise that appears to be coming from the left side of the engine near the fan belt/alternator area. It is most apparent when starting to rev the engine and once the idle has come back to normal. In researching this problem I suspect that there may be an issue with the Idler Pully.















Any thoughts??

logical.......















you can pin point it with a section of hose to listen through. but it really doesn't matter. you'll end up pulling the belt to check the pulley and prolly change belt since you're there.
