its like a Camry on steroids in terms of size. i think its considered a crossover SUV thing, so it could be considered a family car

It has good space in the back seat and in the cargo area, so it would be perfect for a couple of young children in car seats who ride in strollers. It's stylish, reliable (presumably), and it gets 29mpg with the 4 cylinder model.































Yes, it's a family car. Compare it to the new Honda Crosstour. Both are very similar to each other, but the Venza has the best looks.

The Toyota Venza is built on the Camry platform (same frame used for both cars) and it is manufactured at the Kentucky plant. It is considered a van-car crossover because of the back hatch and because it is smaller then the average SUV crossover. It comes in both 4 cylinder 2.7L and 3.5L V6 engines. The Venza has been called by many in the Toyota world as a Camry killer because many who have driven Camrys in the past has switched over and traded in the Camry for a Venza. The Venza is a family car which seats 5 comfortably and the back seats fold down creating plenty of room behind the front seats. The Venza also rides higher off the ground then the Camry which makes it easier to get in and out of as well. Hope this answered your question...I recomend you testdrive one....its a beautiful car!
