my toyota verso wont rev up it coughs and spluters

Could be a few things, dirt in the carburettor, accelerator cable faulty. Diesel in stead of petrol or vice versa. Sorry can't be more specific.

could be many things,and without more specific details even harder,modern cars have a lot of sensors like throttle position sensor,cam position sensor.oxygen sensor and mass air flow sensor etc or even the E.C.U,so could be a split hose,faulty sensor,faulty ecu or a million other things.My advice would be to get a diagnostic check done at a garage,might find the problem,or at least rule out some possible causes

By the very unspecific way your saying it im going to say that your fuel filter needs replacing.
