Can my 1989 corolla sedan with a 4a-f engine and 95hp make it over a mountain pass at decent speeds with 4 people + cargo? Specifically the cascade range...































Motor has 265,XXX miles on it.

not a chance, between all of you no one has a big full size car? I suggest you come up with a better plan, there is so much in the middle of no where up there that even taking a chance with a vehicle like that is unrealistic. sometimes common sense can go a long way, I suggest renting a car at the very least and ensuring a safe trip.

I wouldn't risk it. Your car is too old, too weak, and you're carrying too much weight.
