Default Kind of gas for toyota 4runner?
What kind of gas do I use for a 2005 Toyota 4runner sr5 4WD? Just got it and don't want to put the wrong type in...

Most cars have this information printed on the fuel filler cap.































It's always in the owners manual.

I always use mid-grade gasoline as a preference, but you can put whatever octane you want in it. Its a gasoline engine.

All newer North American Toyotas use regular unleaded fuel. Although putting premium in it every once in awhile won't hurt it and will actually get you better gas milage.

Regular Unleaded, it's a Toyota not an Italian sports car.
