It depends what is damaged. If the head gasket is gone, engine's blown, you'll need a new engine. IF you know what you're doing, wreckers would have 1JZ or 2JZ for ~$1000, but very difficult to source out, so it depends - since the car is so old and rare. The labour may be the most expensive part as well, even in a simple car, such as the Corolla, it takes 5-6 hours, labour costs ~$300. In excess of $1500 if you'd also want to tidy up a few things as well. Good Luck.
