Yes, as the previous-poster mentioned, it is not an easy retrofit. Fuel cells produce electricity so you would need to remove the engine, fuel tank and possibly transmission. Then install electric drive motors and drive controllers before you could have a vehicle that can run from a fuel cell.
You can use practices to reduce your fuel consumption such as conserving momentum, avoiding fast starts and stops, and using lots of following distance to keep your speed as constant as possible. Also--drive less!
