Default Is the older Toyota celicas good cars ? I'm looking at a 1981 with 85,000 miles on it?
I would like to know what I would expect out of one the one I'm looking at is a 1981 celica sunchaser (convertible) with 85,000 miles everything is all original on the car















Were these cars know for any major problems ? Reliability is what I'm concerned about but Its a Toyota so I don't imagine that could be a issue ?















But I'm looking for a kinda sporty car (not fast) but looks cool fun to drive good on gas with the possibility of convertible or T-tops















But I hope some of you Toyota boys (or girls lol ) could give me some info !!! Thanks

a toyota celica thats a convertible from 1981 is a collectors item and should only be driven once in a while and parked in a garage the rest of the time yes its dependable but i wouldnt drive it as it is a collectors item. look up griffin toyota celicas cause thats what u have.
