Like another poster pointed out, that is average miles for that year.. it really works out to about 13,000 miles a year.
If the maintenance records are available from the current owner, that would be in its favor.
If the general appearance looks like it is well cared for, that would be in its favor.
Like yet another poster points out, an Avalon can go 250,000+ miles if well cared for.
With this or any older used car, if everything else looks good, and it seems to drive OK, have a certified mechanic check it over BEFORE you buy it, and ask them if it seems like a a good car and a good buy. It may cost you $40 or $50 bucks, but is may save you a lot more if the car has problems.
And that should be a very reasonable car to insure, unless you have a very bad driving record, in which case, any car will cost you a lot.
