What kind of maintinence should I do to my car?

I just got a 1992 Toyota Celica GT. First of all I love the car its super fast and handles like a dream. I was wondering what kind of oil I should use being as it has a little over 180,000 miles on it. Also every time I go over a small or large bump both sides of the rear suspension make a "click" noise. The car drives fine though, any ideas? Lastly, are there any good reasons why my A/C doesn't work. I press the button and it lights up but the compressor never comes on. Thanks guys

OIL- Flush the Engine then use Castrol or Havoline Hi-Mileage 15w-40. Clicking- Broken Rear Shocks and/or Springs. A/C- Check to see if you're getting power to the Compressor with the switch on? at 180,000+ it might be a good Idea to have a "Good H.V.A/C Shop" check it

I dont recommend 15w-40. I had a 1991 Celica with 160K it was pretty sick I regret selling it but got a 2002 Celica and love this one as well. I used Castrol GTX High Mileage 10w-30 with my old celica and my new one. I have always used Castrol 10w-30 with my Toyotas and havent had one problem with them. Clicking noise could be shocks are shot. You A/C compressor could be out because of the car being so old but I could be wrong so best thing would be to do is have someone check it out and see whats going there it could be a simple fix. You could also change the spark plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, fuel filter. Is your car a stick shift? Either way you could put in a air intake and get a couple more horsepower out of the car cheap ebay one could do the trick.
