what will happen if the power steering belt snaps on my 96 corolla?

Default what will happen if the power steering belt snaps on my 96 corolla?
My Toyota Corolla has been making a whining noise when i first start the car and especially when i turn. I went to get my oil changed and the tech told me my power steering belt is too small and is about to snap off. What will happen if that belt breaks? would i still be able to drive my car?

Is it the belt that runs the alternator, power steering, water pump, a/c?















If its just that one belt and it snaps you risk over heating your car because water pump has stopped running, power steering will be lost, you will drain your battery within 30 minutes, and no a/c.
