No old cars give alot of problems! But on the other hand only if you are in desperate need of a car you should buy it And if you have the money save up for something better. And get your money's worth.
If it has been well cared-for and the price is right, it could be an excellent choice. I have a 1985 4Runner that is an absolute joy to own. Learn as much about it as you can and spend some time driving it. Then do some research about pricing and look at some alternatives. I prefer the 80's cars to the current ones due to the styling and simpler design.
I wouldn`t it is too old for a Toyota, too likely to cost a lot and spare parts are not always easy to come by, and they are not the nicest cars to drive, very unexciting and dull
Before buying the car you should also compare insurance prices for these cars to estimate how much you will really pay for it - carinsurance.deep-ice.com
