Well, the bright side is that you can wait until 2012 to test drive each to see which one you will be most satisfied with, but I would personally choose the Corolla. The Toyota Corolla has a reputation for reliability, and I believe that it has been named one of the best cars in history (but I have no reference point for this since I heard it in a recent conversation with a car dealership). The big difference between the two, minus the Celica being a 2 door car, and probably have less space, is that the Celica is a rear wheel drive car. If you live in a winter bound state (Montana, Minnesota, etc.) this can have a huge impact on your driving experience. So, the Corolla would be the safe bet, and a great bet to choose!
