Default What is the top speed of an Toyota land cruiser FJ40 with a I6 4.2L engine?
Hi, I am looking in getting an old FJ40 to fix up and i was just wondering if i could actually take it up to 100-130 kph on highways and take it to the good off road locations. I am guessing it could just wanted to know.

Hi, the ussual top speed on a factory Land Cruiser is 100 kph (about 70mph), but, if you put a 5 speed transmission you could get 120 kph without any problem. However, if you put headers, better distributor a you do not have too big tires on it, you could also get 120 kph but with high RPMs.
