after market oem apps show it as $250-350+-. i always expect to pay somewhere close twice the after market price for genuine toyota parts. so.......















this should be part of wondering's answer. it best answer!

it depends on what happened to the old one, if it just has a failed seal but the rest of the system is OK refer to the other answerer but add the labor and other charges (receiver/accumulator drier, oil, refrigerant, etc.) if it seized or stopped pumping for whatever reason there may be shrapnel in the system that will plug orifices or expansion valves and will destroy a new compressor unless a new condenser and possibly suction filter are installed along with a complete flush.

It is really going to cost you an arm and a leg if you try to get















an OEM compressor. Your best bet would be to get an aftermarket















compressor that probably comes with an lifetime warranty so if















it happens to go out again you can switch it out where Toyota will















only warranty it for a couple years if that. But are you sure that the















compressor is out?
