Anyone have a TRD C.A.I. on their Tacoma?

Interested in the TRD Cold Air Intake for a second gen Tacoma V6 4x4 and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Does the price justify the increase in hp? Did you even feel a difference after installing the intake? Did you calibrate the MAF after install? Should I just stick with the drop-in K&N?

Have a CAI from TRD on my 07 Tundra. I couldve gotten

AFE or even Volant or a KN but there were low power end

losses on the AFE and the KN Filters. The Volant was ok

but the TRD had more of an effect then the other 3. Stay

away from KN filters there to open and cause dirt to still go

through the filter because it is very open. The drop in is fine

but you wont see much of a difference though your response

will feel a bit quicker. TRD is pricey but Toyota knew how to

build the CAI's for there vehicle line up. I could have gotten a

volant but it was more expensive and in this way I got a warranty

with the TRD CAI. Overall I am very happy with my buy. Hope

this helps goodluck choosing one it was very hard for me to.
