Default Would a 1999 Toyota Corrolla with 175,000 miles be ok to buy?
The car is mint condition, has new brakes,tires,and a good e-check. The price is $2,999. Would that be a good buy?















It has a good car fax. It hasn't had any accidents and it has passed all of its emissions tests.

You tell us.































We can't see the car.































We can't inspect it.































We can't carfax it.































Etc.































So how would we know anything about the car, or be able to determine if it's "ok" to buy?















































And mileage tells you nothing, so there's no point in even mentioning that.































Edit: It has a good car fax. It hasn't had any accidents and it has passed all of its emissions tests.































That still tells us nothing.

I would have to see the car in person, drive it and what not, but it should be just fine with 175k.

Still need to have the car inspected for accidents just because















carfax marked it clean doesnt mean theres a way around not getting















it reported. Need to ask and make sure that the timing belt has been















changed. Make sure tranny fluids been changed. Have someone















check it out

sounds like the price should be dropped a bit. but yes that isn't that many miles for a toyota just make sure it was kept up well and do a compression check or leak down test.
