Hi, i owned a 93 celica convertible same body style. I have change out my front brakes and rotors. and it is fairly simple. Its been a while since i change them but i will try to help u out.
1. Take the tire off.
2. U need a 12mm or a 14mm socket i think its 14mm 4 bolts behind the brake caliper 2 top 2 bottom.
3. Take off the V shape wire clip on brake shoes its easy. U should be able to slide the shoes out.
4. U need to buy a C clamp medium or large one for the brake caliper to push caliper cylinder for ur new brake shoes to slide in. when pushing ur caliper cylinder pop open ur brake reservoir so it can be easy to push.
5. Its best to resurface ur rotor but if u dont have the money u dont have to but i did it. take off the front bolt with the metal line and bang that sucker out.
6. after u put your new brake shoes in hook everything back up. might have to test the brakes before u take it out on the road, press the brakes couple of times and make sure u have no air in the brakes system.
7. Your done i might have forgot a few small things but thats really about it. fairly easy job.
