Default 2004 Tacoma TRD package?
So I have a 2004 Tacoma TRD 4x4 SR5 3.4 L V6















Does anybody know if this truck has a rear locking differential?

Yes, it does, as long as it is a true TRD and didn't have the decals applied after ownership.































You should see a rectangular button on the dash, to the left of the steering wheel that says "RR DIFF LOCK." This button engages and disengages the rear differential locker.































It only functions when the transfer case is in 4wd-low.

The V6 TRD packages started in 1998, and came with rear lockers. Even if it was a two-wheel drive Pre-runner, if it had the TRD Off-Road option, it came with a rear locker.































Now get one for the front.































You have one of the most sought after trucks by 4-wheeling enthusiasts.
