Default What would cause a 1998 Toyota Camry 6 cylinder to idle abnormally high.?
THE IDLE COMES DOWN WHILE DRIVING BUT RMS ARE AT 2000 IN PARK. ENGINE MAKING FUNNY NOISE TOO

Dam your idling at 2000 RPMS on idle. A whole of things could be wrong















with the car could be vacuum leak, timing is off, TPS faulty, MAF sensor.















Are you getting a CEL? If not theres going to be a lot of things that you will















be looking for to pinpoint the problem. Best suggestion while its still running















take to a shop so they can find out whats wrong with it
