07 Toyota tundra help (TEN POINTS)?

I was just wondering about this deal.. I'm looking to buy a truck, and I found this one in a local classified and was wondering if it was a good deal> It is a 2007 Toyota Tundra, with 127k miles on it. And it is going for about 17k $. It has crew cab, so it's not the crew max. Nothing is wrong with it, and it is a "certified pre owned vehicle". I really just have two questions on it































1> is 127k miles to much to buy a truck with?































2> is it a good deal for 17k $

127k is way too high for any 2007 vehicle. remember, you get what you pay. of coarse the ad will say there's nothing wrong with it. and for 17k? i don't know,,,,

Love this question as I own a 07 Tundra Double Cab (smaller 4 door).















I bought this sucker brand new off the lot and have only managed to















put about 39,000 miles on it. So the answer to question number 1 would be















Yes it has way to many miles for a 4 year old truck. That truck was averaging















30K a year and who knows if the person who had it before was keeping up















with oil changes and maintenance's often. Another thing is it has 100K so















it needs a tune-up if it hasnt already had one which includes Timing Belt,















Coolant change (Toyota has maxlife coolant which is rated till 100K), Spark















Plugs (Toyota put Iridium Plugs in the Tundras which is rated till 100K),















Transmission fluid (In 4 years who knows if its ever been changed needs to















be changed every 30K-60K depending on driving conditions), Differential















fluid change, Power steering and brake fluid change, etc. You have to ask















all those questions before jumping the gun because as soon as you buy the truck















you could making more payments in repairs then to pay off the truck it self.















Answer to question 2 is NO its a good deal. Actually its a very bad deal. That















truck should be worth atleast 13K because it has surpassed 100K in mileage.















Its been overused and abused. Go with the one that has 60K even though its















a couple thousand expensive you wont have to do any maintenance for a while















besides oil changes. By the way I love my Tundra its huge and powerful and its















basically new since it has 39K
