Default Toyota celica trailor hitch?
I found this but to you does it seem absurd for a celica to haul anything?

I have a celica and would like to haul my MINI-CYCLE occasionally. I know just because they make something doesn't mean that something is made for that... Will hauling hurt my vehicle? Thanks..

My brother towed his Harley with a 1987 Camry, which we all thought he was NUTS, but amazingly enough it made it, but it was highly recommended that he not do it.































Too much strain on the motor, transmission, brakes and suspension.































He did however break down, but that was due to the starter going out.































I personally wouldn't do it if it is a 4 cyl.

Check the owner's manual. It will discuss using your Celica to tow. You're right, even though a hitch is made for it, doesn't mean it can be used to tow. The hitch can still be used for things like bike racks or cargo carriers.































Your owner's manual or contacting Toyota will give you a definitive answer.
