where are the spark plugs in my moms toyota prius?

Default where are the spark plugs in my moms toyota prius?
this engine is whack















no i can not find the wires either we found what we assumed was the plugs but when we removed the cover fuel spayed all over me

these engines have individual ignition coil packs per spark plug, they go in a little deep, like almost 5 inches from the top of the engine. can you specify what year your prius is? either way, they are very close to the oil filler cap on top of the engine, or you can do an image search of the engine of your mom's car.

The are under the igniters. There is no cover, so I don't know what you removed, but the spark plugs are right out there. However, you have to be careful removing the igniters because they are easy to break.

I think you should back up a step... you say the engine is whack and are going to the spark plugs. Just what is the engine doing wrong, and do you have a check engine light or hybrid warning triangle lit? The ignition is not a common problem in the Prius... in fact I've never heard of ignition problems in a Prius. The year is also important - there have been three generations and the first was very different from the other two.
