biggest engine for MKIII Supra?

Default biggest engine for MKIII Supra?
I have a 1991 supra and i was wondering what is the biggest and cheapest engine i could put in it. i know about the 7m's and the jz's but i would like an engine with a little more "oomph" or if you know a really good deal on a 2jz tt, that would be nice.

You could probably shoehorn a 350 smallblock into it if you wanted.































I'd just stick with the 7MGTE personally.

Biggest engine for that? I'm sure I could fit a 632ci Merlin big block chevy. They are shorter in length than an I6, and really aren't as wide as youthink. Sure, you would have to do some radical hood treatments because it's a tall engine, but it could be done, and voila! 800+hp to break the rest of the car into little piles of rust...even if the car has no rust on it right now.































The cheapest option would be to get a crate Chevy 350 or Ford 351 based engines. You can get these and fully dress them for under $3000, which is about what a 2JZ would cost, and they would easily make 400-450hp or more. Spend a little more and you could get 500hp, with 500ft-lb torque.

They fit in everything.
