Finding a used supra?

where can i find a 1993-96 supra (thats not a turbo) for less than $15,000 that is used with less than 100,000 miles. does a deal like this exist? i go on many price evaluator sites and they say what im looking for should be around 12,000 but all im seeing is prices above 17,000 for cars with 150,000 miles+. Any suggestions on where to find these cars? thanks

A Supra? Awesome car. Everyone knows it. That's why they're so expensive.

Some cars just don't obey Kelley Blue Book and other price evaluating sites, and the Supra is a prime example. You just have to consistently search craigslist, ebay, and autotrader....and cross your fingers. Deals do jump out every now and then.

Why bother, they're heavy and handle like crap. The turbo engine is the only thing that makes them any good at all.

I recommend a c5 vette, it'll out handle the supra, has just as much potential in the 1/4 mile and you can find one in your price range (if you're patient and good at haggling).

Don't bother, those sports cars get abused.

you would be better off with a Buick you inherited from GrandPa

I'm not sure where you're looking, but several years ago, around 2000ish I had a chance at a 1994 Supra Turbo 6 speed, 48k miles for $12,000. Although those years Supras are rare (because nobody wanted them back then...not sure why kids want them now), you can find the non-turbos all day long for less than $5000. Turbos are harder to find because of one movie whose name I won't mention here, but it featured an Orange 1994 Supra Turbo.
