Default I pressure washed the engine copartment of my 1988 Toyota pickup, 6 cyl 5 spd 4x4 with EFI....
...Today there is no? 6 cyl 5 spd 4x4 w/EFI. Today there is no electrical power at all. I've checked the fuses and wires all good,Tried crank assist w/my battery charger and still no power. Have it on charge now. What can I do to fix this?

Generally, its not a good idea to pressure wash the engine compartment of a modern vehicle due to the electrical system.































Start with the battery. Take the terminals off of posts off and clean both of them. Also, use a rag to wipe off the top of the battery (throw the towel away). Check battery voltage, and then check the voltage of the battery from the frame to the positive posts.































If you don't have voltage from ground to the positive, check the status of your ground path.































Work your way up the positive batter wire. You will like find a short or a break on your way to the fuse box.

Most likey you have shorted out a terminal to another or surfaced a bad connection with water getting into it and now it no longer has that "iffy" contact.































Best thing is to get a can of WD40 and pull off each connector and spray into each one and reseat them back. The WD40 will help clean the contacts in the connectors.

i agree with Chris.































but to be more specific, pull the dist cap and liberally spray in there. cap and dist connector to. likely that's the cause of your ignition grounding. this *may* have toasted the main relay. left kick panel at your feet.































these are usualy fine to pressure wash. if you prep with WD-40 first and stay away from the air box.















pressure washing wont effect the bat terminals.
