What gas milage does a 2006 Rav 4 really get? ive heard varrying results?

Default What gas milage does a 2006 Rav 4 really get? ive heard varrying results?
Im thinking of buying a 2006 Rav 4 3.5L because it seems to be a good versatile vechile that gets good gas milage but I have read gas mileage reviews that very from 19 city 26 highway to 26 city and 36 highway. Anyone drive one and clocked it? or know the actual amount?

I have a 06 but it's a 4 cyl. The 4 cylinder doesn't come with overdrive, and as a result, the 6 cylinder is rated at only 1 mpg less. I get about 25 on the highway going 70 mph, cause it's reving so high. I think it actually gets better mileage in town. But I can tell a big difference in gas mileage, going 60 it gets closer to 30mpg.

No RAV 4 has ever gotten 26/36, whoever told you that was off by a mile. My friend has one with the V6 and AWD, that 19/26 is spot on.
