Default How to use the Toyota VIP Remote Engine Starter?
I just bought a 2011 Toyota 4runner SR5 4x4. I had the OEM VIP Remote engine Start on it. How do I use it? How do I turn on the a/c or heat? What are some pros and cons about it? The range?

you put you a/c settings the way you want them to..... the way you use your remote start is to press the lock button 3 times, with in 15 seconds then holding it on the third press, by this time you should see the signal lamps light up after around 2-3 seconds... then let go.... so it is press-press- hold -(wait for the lights)- then let go
