Why does oil change shop change my Toyota transmission fluid at next due oil change? ?

Default Why does oil change shop change my Toyota transmission fluid at next due oil change? ?
I change oil every three thousands miles. Last time when I do oil change, they did transmission oil change too. I went back there after my three thousands miles being used up. They change transmission oil also but no charge this time.































Why they did that? Last time they change transmission fluid was castrol oil for Toyota. But when I go back second time at three thousands miles later, they took that out and put Toyota only and made by Toyota oil only into my car transmission at 3000 miles later.

They put the wrong type in the first time and are trying to correct it.































Keep your receipts in case the transmission fails?

It could be the wrong type of oil they added possibly.































I work at a garage and more then likely they made the same mistake i did a couple of times. I accidentally drained the transmission Fluid when i meant to drain the engine oil. So we refilled the engine oil at our cost because it was our mistake.































I wouldn't be worried about the type of oil they added as long as it was the same grade of oil and the proper oil they put in the second time. I would play it on the safe side it doesn't hurt. But keep your recites in case you do have transmission problems in the future.
