Default Toyota Recall related to check engine light code?
IS THIS: Safety Recall A0J - Engine Control Module (ECM) for Certain 2005 through 2008 Toyota Corolla and Corolla Matrix Models Equipped with a 1ZZ-FE Engine and Two Wheel Drive































RELATED TO THIS ERROR: P2716 error Pressure control solenoid D electrical fault (SSV SLT)































*Yes, my car has the above recall but I need to know if this recall is related to my check engine light error above (please say yes - a shift solenoid is $$$ to replace)

i would call toy. one of the symptoms is harsh shifting. that code maybe a result.































FYI,















codes pointing to sensors, doesn't always mean a sensor is bad. just that a sensor is sending incorrect/incompatible info to the ecm. so if the ecm is suspect, well, there ya go.































wouldn't be surprised if the the ecm is in limp mode now.
