is it a 2zz-ge? and what would be smart ways to add a little more horses?

yes it is the 2zzge. stock celicas got the 1zzfe. The best basic power adders are always intake and exhaust. Remember, your engine is just a big air pump, allow it to breathe better and it will be more efficient.
