2005 toyota Sequoia SR5 78000 miles?

Default 2005 toyota Sequoia SR5 78000 miles?
why is it when i have the cruise control set and it down shifts to go uphills when i get to the top and start going downhill the truck wont shift back up? instead the trucks engine rpms will go up to 5000 to 5500 rpms.















It only does it when the cruise control is on.

sounds like a transmission problem. does it do this when not in cruise control ? i would take it to a trusted mechanic or a Toyota dealership repair shop.
