Good deal for an '04 Toyota Camry?

Default Good deal for an '04 Toyota Camry?
My son will be starting college this fall and we are currently looking into buying a car for him. We were looking into a pre owned 4 cylinder car since he will be driving roughly about 30 miles a day to get to school.































We are currently considering buying a 2004 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder automatic car with 119,000 miles for $9,000. This car only had one owner, well taken care of, and has a well maintenance record.































Do you guys think this is a good deal or can I find a better deal? Thoughts? Is this a car that can last my son a long time and is reliable?

keep looking you can find a better deal, for that price you can get something with lower miles try a different manufactor like honda or nissan like a civic, accord,sentra etc maybe a small suv

$9k for an 04 Camry? Thats a terrible deal, especially with that many miles. You could probably get it for less than $7k. Those cars aren't made of gold. Break down just as much as anything else, and aren't that fuel efficient. I only average 28mpg with mine, and keeps eating tires, brakes. When I went to dealer, jokingly to see how much I could get for it, they gave me $4500, on an 04 camry. Keep that in mind. And mine had 135k miles on it.
