1991 Toyota Camry, transmission problem?

Default 1991 Toyota Camry, transmission problem?
Please, I want a serious answer, not like "Toyota's sucks. Get American vehicle one" or something like this. I simply can't afford another car and I drive my car everyday. It have 250,040km (155,367 miles) on it. It is automatic car and it's been doing like this, when it change into 2nd gear from 1st gear, it will jerk for quick time. Same thing with 2nd to 3rd but not that jerk very much. I wonder what it caused? Can it get fixed? My car is 1991 Toyota Camry LE V6. Thanks.

Check all the mounts, both transmission and motor mounts first. Bad mounts can cause this problem. Toyota DOES suck but this answer is an honest one and a 1991 model will have worn out mounts no matter what kind of car it is.

Change Transmission Mount and while your at it change















the motor mounts. Give the tranny a good flush and change















the filter out and shifts should be a lot more smoother.
