I think that is a bit much, my car was 10 years old when I bought it and only had 35,000 miles on it. Think of a car as an investment, it's better to spend more and have it last longer than to spend less and probably have to pay for a new one in a years time.

What year, what price? Those things would make a big difference.















If it runs and you can drive it another 5000 miles or so, any car would be worth $1000 or so.
