Default 2006 toyota corolla question?
Ok so i just bought this car and I am not quite sure if this is normal or not, it is a 2006 toyota corolla s model. I have never heard of any other car doing this. When I started to run low on gas the horn started to honk about 3 times in a row and then again about every 2 minutes until I got gas. I wasn't even that low on gas the needle was about a tick mark about the E and I the gas light wasn't even on yet. I was on my way to get some gas. Is this some kinda safety feature that's normal or is this some freak malfunction in my car? I don't see how it can be safe, I mean horns are for when someone is about to hit you not for when you are low on gas. People around me were staring at me and thought i was doing it on purpose.

no thats not normal. it is probubly an electriical wiring problem.

When the gas light turns on the warning chime should be going off















about three times same beep if you dont wear your seatbelt. If your















question isnt a fake question then yes you have a very serious wiring















problem instead of getting your warning chime to beep looks like it has















been wired to the horn. I would get this looked at ASAP and hope that















there isnt any other hidden problems you should know about
